Expression of Interest to Host Jandowae and District Australia Day 2016 celebrations Each year, an opportunity arises for community groups to submit an Expression of Interest to host the following years Australia Day celebrations. In 2016 a host organisation and venue is required for the Jandowae and District for a breakfast event. The aim is to have a unique function to celebrate Australia Day, displaying how proud we are to be Australian. Western Downs Regional Council is currently calling for Expressions of Interest from groups or organisations wishing to host the Australia Day Celebrations for Tuesday, 26 January 2016. Why not get a committee together in your local town area to share the celebrations. Submissions are to be in writing to CEO Western Downs Regional Council PO Box 551 Dalby Qld 4405. Expressions of Interest close Friday, 18 September 2015. Enquiries: Fiona Henderson (Community Development Officer) Ph: 4679 4420 E: fiona.henderson@wdrc.qld.gov.au.
