Congratulations to our 2013 community skills scholarship recipients! Our annual Community Skills Scholarship dinner was recently held in Miles, in celebration of our 30 new 2013 recipients. The apprentices’ families, friends and employers joined in the festivities, drawing around 150 guests. Origin’s Scott Bird added lively entertainment to the evening as the MC and the guests enjoyed watching some video footage of the recipients, particularly some amusing dancing! A great night was had by all. Recipients were selected from Miles, Chinchilla, Dalby, Roma, Mitchell and Biloela. We were pleased to award the highest number of scholarships so far this year. This brings the total scholarship number to 133, awarded over the past 7 years. A variety of trades outside the oil and gas industry were represented this year, including cabinet makers, hairdressers, chefs, and parks and gardens apprentices. We would like to congratulate all of the scholarship winners for 2013, and thank recipients’ employers, partners and families for their welcome support. fOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE PROGRAM PLEASE CALL 1800 526 369 OR VISIT WWW.ORIGINTOGETHER.COM
