This beautiful old bell clock is believed to have been in the ad building before our current, but old, ad building was built. It has been beautifully restored by Lynn Miller. Because the clock was no longer able to keep time the inner works have been replaced by battery operated parts.

Family Tree Research Let Gwen build your family tree for you! This package includes approximately 30 hours of genealogical research on your ancestors, with the goal of creating a family tree for you. While research is never a 'sure thing', she will make every effort to locate your ancestors, and everything about them that is available in records, using extensive research methods. The goal will be a family tree built for you, and published on Ancestry.com (optional), that you may access at any time. You will receive a printed tree with details of each person in it, and copies of the records, photographs, and information discovered for each person in the form of a notebook that can be expanded as you learn more. Gwen is a skilled, highly experienced, amateur genealogist. You will get the best results from what she has to offer if you do not already have an established family tree, and if your family was in the U.S. by 1940 or earlier. You will provide as much history as you are able for her to begin. She will work with you through this process, and include your documents and photographs in the tree and final reports. Included in this offer is an ancestry DNA test through 23andme.com ($99 value), which you may choose to accept or decline. If she is unable to successfully find the family you request, she will happily research an alternate family for you (such as a spouse's family) instead. While this offer allows around 30 hours of research, that is an estimate. If there is more work and time needed, and the tree is actively growing, she will continue to work on it as long as she is able. She will be available to you in the future, and will consult with you and help you move forward. She is passionate about family history and believes we need to know our past to understand our present. She looks forward to discovering YOUR family with you, and will take great joy in the journey together!

2014 SPECIAL PROJECT UPDATE Because of generous bidders who gave to last year’s special project several improvements were made in the school cafeteria! The stairs leading to the cafeteria were refinished with a non slip material, there is new paint and art on the walls, and a concrete patio to allow more outdoor seating when it is warm out!

As Western’s largest fundraiser, the auction plays a key role in making it possible for the school to come alongside families in need. Over 40% of the student body receives some level of financial assistance. Every gift designated to student grants changes lives one student at a time.
