Say goodbye to the days of having to manually clutch to control braking and re-engaging the tractor.

AutoClutch™ is now in base on all 5R models

AutoClutch™ automatically regulates the load on the tractor when you come to a complete stop and press the brake. It also provides the ability to inch or creep the tractor forward or reverse on a level surface or incline.

In addition, you can accelerate the vehicle back to normal speed by releasing the brake. And if you prefer manually clutching, the foot pedal is still in base for you to use.

AutoClutch™ is especially useful in applications that involve frequent stops such as baling. By drastically reducing the number of steps involved in operating the tractor, the 5R Series gives you all-day comfort.

You can set the sensitivity of the AutoClutch™ system in the cornerpost display.

There are four modes available:

• High sensitivity (default mode) • Medium sensitivity • Low sensitivity • Off – temporary setting only that is reset after a key cycle

Low sensitivity would typically be used in transport applications with a towed implement, giving you better traction control.

When you count up the number of times you need to clutch to go from a full stop to full driving speed, and back again, you’ll see that over the course of a long day in the field AutoClutch™ will transform your driving experience.
