Preschool Enrichment Class Requirements

Ages 3-5. Children MUST be potty trained and be able to follow directions and participate in small group setting without a parent. Doors will be open 10 minutes prior to class. No make-up for canceled classes or missed classes. Kids will receive a snack and drink. Min 6/Max 12 $12 1 Class WTO Lower

X-RAY VISION

Discover animals from the inside out. Your child will compare different types of animal bones and how they might move. Can they match the animal to its skeletal x-ray? Come and find out a new way to discover the world of animals.

Calling All Engineers

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

How do caterpillars become something beautiful? Your child will be amazed at the beautiful butterflies that they will create. We will read about a very hungry caterpillar. They will get a snack but “they will still be hungry” just as the caterpillar was.

Spring Cleaning

Today is the day for Spring cleaning. We have a variety of crafts from throughout the year. We want you to create new things with them. You will have a chance to make your own treasures to take home with you. And, of course we will have a story and snacks to top off the day.

BUNNIES AND BEES

Hop on over to see us. Your child will discover all the exciting creatures that are coming out in the sunshine and warmth this time of the year. They will learn the importance of those bees that are buzzing around. What kind of snack can those bees prepare for us?

Alphabet Soup

Your child will explore patterns, building, and matching all sorts of shapes and colors. Can they find a shape, big or little, that is their favorite color?

Bugs, bugs everywhere! Explore the world of BUGS. Your child will go on a bug hunt and find many different species of bugs. They will discover the importance of bugs and how they help our environment. Have they ever eaten a bug? We’ll find out bugs don’t taste so bad.

Busy Builders

Mad Scientist

Calling all mad scientists. Your child will explore the complex world of science in the simplest way. They will experiment with water, magnets, measuring and slime, just to mention a few. Send them prepared to get messy!

ROCK ON!

Come and make your very own pet rock. We will paint our own rocks to take home. We will also discover different rocks from around the world. You might even find your very own fossil.

Wee Play

Ages 1-5 with Adult. Toddlers love to play! They love social interaction with other children and they love to explore new surroundings. Wee Play allows you and your little ones to meet new friends. STORYWALK® BOOK REVEAL

All Ages. MacGregor Park is home to a StoryWalk® where visitors can enjoy reading a children's book while walking the park trails. This project is a partnership between Westfield Washington Township and the Westfield Washington Public Library. The story will remain up for several months so stop by anytime the park is open from sunrise to sunset. The book will be ideal for ages 7 and under and can be found on the small trail behind the park shelters. “StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and was developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, Kellogg-Hubbard Library.”

CPR/AED (ADULT AND PEDIATRIC)

Ages 16+. This American Red Cross, Instructor-Led by Deborah Miller, course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED valid for 2 years. Min 3/Max 9 $67 1 class WWT Lower
