Make It & Take It: Mother’s Day

May 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Does your child need a last minute gift for that special mother figure in their life? If so, drop in the Maker Space anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to decorate a small gift that will be gift wrapped before leaving. Suggested donation amount is $1 per item which includes all supplies and wrapping materials.

Story Times (18 months and up, with caregiver)

Drop in or pre-reserve a take & make kit of digital book recommendations, songs or rhymes, educational activities, crafts and coloring pages all based around a central theme. Designed for preschoolers and their caregivers. Adult supervision required.2nd Friday of the month. Register and drop-in between 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Mar 10; Apr 14; May 12)

Preschool Music & Movement (preschool with caregiver)

Library staff lead children in a wide range of activities supporting early literacy, including chanting, singing, dancing, action songs & stories, rhythm practice, creative movement & role playing. Children will practice both large and small motor skills. Usually the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. (Mar 1, 15; Apr 5, 19; May 3, 17)

Tween Book Club (5th – 8th Grade)

Little Stitching Nook Group

Do you love crocheting, cross stitching, or knitting? All levels of expertise are welcome. Bring your own projects and supplies and meet other creative children! This activity is free and for ages 8-12.
