The purpose of this proposal is to define the scope of design and training services to be provided by West Gates of JFm Graphic Design, of Jerome, Idaho, (JFM) to the Magic Valley Arts Council (MVAC) of Twin Falls, Idaho. The immediate goal of this relationship is to revamp of the MVAC website with on-site training which will enable self management of the MVAC site by the MVAC. Generally, JFm will be retained as a contracted consultant. Supplemental proposals may be requested for individual, additional or ancillary projects or purposes.
Relationship:
JFm is an independent design studio, marketing, training and consulting firm. JFm will be providing Design and Training Services with a schedule to be determined by both parties. This relationship may be terminated at anytime by either party. All materials created by JFm during this relationship will remain the property of JFm until the time that exclusive unlimited usage rights are purchased, paid for in full, or donated and transferred to the MVAC in writing. The individual projects or segments of projects for the MVAC will be conducted with an assortment of involvements by JFm without a change in JFm’s rates. 1. Some content or components will be created and developed off-site at JFm’s facilities in Jerome (e.g. mastheads, banners, buttons, backgrounds, videos, photo sessions, brochures, flyers, postcards, etc ) at the direction and authorization of the MVAC. 2. Some website elements will be constructed, assembled or completed at the MVAC’s facilities with JFm present to provide supervision and training.
Billing & Discounts:
JFm will bill monthly for work performed on an hourly bases at our normal minimum hourly rates as stated in the General Working Agreement. JFm’s hourly rate will be a flat fee of $60 per hour. $20 of each billable hour will be donated to the MVAC and will be stated as such on each bill. $20 of each billable hour will be returned to the MVAC as a cash donation from JFm Graphic Design. $20 per hour will be the net cost to the MVAC for all design, consultation and training services.

My vision of the Project.
1. Design & Concept Development . . . . . . . . . . . . . 14 hrs. @ $60 per hr ~ $840.00 I will create and post an “Under Construction” page. We will meet and discuss the goals, purpose, and desired look of the site. I will build a prototype or concept landing page for comments and discussion. Once the concept approval, I will create the buttons, backgrounds and all the general components of the website. 2. Website Development (Construction & Training) . . . . . 12.5 hrs. @ $60 per hr ~ $750.00 We begin building the site together concurrently with training. I will come to the MVAC offices for 5 ~ 2.5 hr sessions. At each session we will build a new page and adjust previous pages. 3. Additional Design Services . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $750.00 This more of a contingency fund for times when the MVAC needs some specialized design or additional graphics (like a custom Facebook landing page to match the Website) and does not have the time or applications for the task.

Reporting:
JFm will provide a weekly report listing of materials created and time expended on behalf of the MVAC.
Confidentiality:
Confidential materials and access to MVAC sites and data may be provided to JFm for the purpose of completing various projects or promotions. JFm agrees to return or delete all such material and to hold all such material in strict confidence. JFm further agrees to not use this material for personal projects or to disclose this information to a third party. JFm will be allowed to use the MVAC site as a portion of it’s portfolio and as a sample for self promotion.
Buy Out:
If, under any circumstances, the MVAC wishes to buy out any portion or element of this project, a request in writing or by e-mail is required and the material will be priced at $20 per hours based on the hours listed in the biweekly report.
