El Capitan is a dance studio hall located on the Modesto Junior College Campus. The existing studio was a wood clad 1960s era building that needed to be repaired and who’s context needed to better fit the adjacent modern context. My Role: I took the initial sketches and modeled a concept similar to what was sketched. I was the Job Captain and sole resource on this project from Schematic Design to Completion. I managed all aspects of the project from take offs, consultant coordination (electrical), and agency approval. I also answered RFIs and reviewed submittals during the construction phase.

My Role: As an architect assigned to A600 the project I assisted the design team to develop the concept after meeting with members of the client’s users and determining the needs of the program. We did visioning exercises and several iterations of design review and approvals. I also assisted the design team with modeling and drafting the drawings through design development. a.

Additional Work at TETER, LLP Selma HS Stadium Honor Wall Summer 2018 As a smaller role in a larger project, I was tasked to design a donor sign for a large high school stadium project. I took precedent examples and came up with a concept in water jetted metal slats. I did the design concept, initial detailing, and concept rendering for this portion of the project.
Stockton New ES (Modular Campus and Site Built MPR May 2018 to Present As a design professional on a new elementary school campus my role was to translate the sketched designs for the exteriors of the modular building to the model. I also sketched and finalized the floor patterns and ceilings. I assisted with design on the site built MPR and was on the team from concept to agency approval. I also submitted and assisted with getting approvals through the county health department for approval for cafeteria operations.
Ballico Elementary School April 2017 to June 2019 As a design professional on a new elementary school modular building. I modeled and drafted the design and casework on a six classroom middle school block with student and staff restrooms. I was on the project from Concept to Agency Approval. I also assisted with RFIs during construction phase.
