WESTRIDGE Soccer Academy girls grades 4 through 8
Westridge Soccer Academy featuring Coach Willman Morcillo The Westridge Soccer Academy is designed to teach and hone soccer fundamentals for both beginning and advanced players. Girls grades 4 through 8 are welcome to attend either the Beginning/Intermediate or Elite sessions. Participants will practice on the state-of-the-art Frank Field and will also be learning Futsal in Hoffman Gym on the Westridge School campus. The Academy will run on Fridays, offering two sessions to accommodate varying abilities.
Coach Willman Morcillo Willman has been playing and coaching soccer for over 30 years. He has coaching experience with boys and girls of all ages and levels and is expert at helping players advance to their next level of play. As a soccer player, Willman was a high school ALL-AMERICAN and received a soccer scholarship to UCLA. He also played soccer professionally for the San Diego Sockers,1982-1984 and Semi-Professionally with the Los Angeles Exiles,1985-1990. As a coach he has been invited on multiple occasions to work with the United States Olympic Development program, was Technical Director for the Korea Green Tigers Football Academy in Seoul, South Korea and currently works with the prestigious CZ Elite Futbol Club in the San Gabriel Valley. Elite Session 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Players who have previous club experience or have a sound knowledge of the fundamentals are encouraged to sign-up for the Elite Sessions. Coach Willman will help refine your skills in order for you to compete at the highest level possible and to maximize your potential. Beginning/Intermediate Session 4:30 -5:30 p.m. For players new to soccer or who have yet to master their fundamentals, the Beginning/Intermediate session will build a solid understanding of the basics in order for you to excel to the next level rapidly. Participants may sign-up for single sessions ($15.00 each), a package of four sessions ($50.00) or the entire year ($250.00). Please make checks payable to Westridge School.
