From The President I am extremely honored to be your newly elected president and serve the Alumni of Westside High School. I hope to stand on the shoulders of the great Presidents that have served before me and continue the great work of our Alumni Association. My wife, Courtney Madson Hellman, and I are proud 1990 graduates. We have lived in District 66 since finishing college in 1994. We keep busy raising future Warriors (Classes of ’15, ’17, ’18, and ’20). Besides our young Warriors, there are very few things in our lives as important to us as the District. I’d like to thank our new officers and board members listed on the next page. Our newest board member is Phyllis Choat, whom I have had the pleasure of working with for the last six years, while serving as our golf tournament chairman. Phyllis serves as this year’s secretary. I am also thrilled to report that Rob Owen (’87) has agreed to chair this year’s Golf Tournament (June 30, 2014). With Rob’s help, you can expect a great event. Can you believe this will be the 21st outing? After becoming the president in November, my first task was to review our existing by-laws. The mission of the Westside Alumni Association is: • • • • •
