Weddings and Engagements Sarah Rath - Stephen Serafin Brian and Terry Rath of Hamlin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah to Stephen Serafin.

Stephen is the son of Dr. Donald Serafin and Mrs. Patricia Serafin of Durham, North Carolina.

Sarah is a graduate of Brockport High School and St. Bonaventure University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and her master’s in Literacy. She is a kindergarten teacher in Carrboro, North Carolina.

Stephen is a graduate of Durham Academy and Wake Forest, earning his bachelor’s with honors in Biology and his master’s in Molecular Diagnostic Sciences from the University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill.

He works at UNC in Research.

A May 27, 2017 wedding is planned.
