To achieve dean’s list status, students must complete at least 12 semester hours and earn a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the semester. This honor was announced by the Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College’s Honors Convocation ceremony. The John & Ruth Deitsch Fisher Music Fund Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior organ performance major. Alana Olivieri of Spencerport has received the dean’s Letter of Commendation for the spring 2017 semester. Students who receive this commendation earned at least a 3.5 GPA in 6 graduation credits this semester.

The following area students received awards during the spring semester at Clarkson University: •Tyler Dodge Miller of Brockport, a sophomore majoring in civil engineering, received the Norbert L. Ackermann Endowed Fund Award. This award is given to two students, one in the sophomore class and one in the junior class of the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering with the greatest promise for academic success. •Krista N. Reger of Rochester, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, received the Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering Staff Award, awarded annually to the outstanding junior and the most promising senior in each major. The recipients are selected by the mechanical & aeronautical engineering faculty based on scholastic performance and other activities.
Raymond J. Stein III, son of Ray Stein Jr. and Meg Stein of Churchville graduated with a double major in health care administration and business administration and a minor in political science and international business. He also achieved dean’s list with honors for the spring 2017 semester at The College at Brockport. Raymond is a 2012 graduate of ChurchvilleChili High School.
