A SOLEMN SHOW OF STRENGTH

While funerals are very often somber occasions that are decidedly different in emotional tone than births and weddings, these solemn events also promote family unity and loving feelings. As sad and difficult as they may be, funerals do provide the opportunity for family members to share their sorrow over the loss of a family member and the chance to appreciate the bonds that tie families together. This is especially true in cases where families are geographically separated and seldom see one another. While everyone would certainly prefer a joyous occasion to gather together with family members, a funeral is nothing less than a life passage that allows people to grieve and

reaffirm their love and commitment to one another. A funeral is a meaningful event that can help ease the pain of separation that naturally accompanies death. It is a time of sharing good memories and experiences with family and friends. It is a time when respect, concern, and appreciation for a life that has been lived can be expressed in a sincere manner. For more information about the funeral services we offer, please call THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME at 585-392-7100. We are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, and we are located at 735 East Avenue. Family owned and trusted since 1976.
