Alexandria Butler, daughter of Paul and Lisa Butler of Hilton, made the dean’s list for spring semester at Erskine College located in South Carolina. The requirements for the dean’s list is a minimum GPA of 3.8. She achieved this honor while playing on the Erskine College Women’s Lacrosse team and was named captain. Alexandria also received an outstanding “penmanship” award for writing in the school newspaper, specifically on topics of great controversy. MCPHS University is pleased to announce that Erica Keeler, of Rochester, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester. Erica is pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy and will graduate from the Boston, Massachusetts campus in 2019. The dean’s list recognizes those students with a full-time course load who have achieved outstanding scholarship with a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic term. Emily Raduns of North Chili was named to the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Illinois, during the spring 2015 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must have been a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher. Pfc. Zachary R. Allen, son of Jeff and Kathy Allen, of Hilton, graduated from United States Marine Boot Camp on July 24. Pfc. Allen was selected Honor Graduate and company Iron Man for Platoon 3052, Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Battalion. He will continue his training at the Pfc. Zachary R. Allen School of Infantry, Infantry Training Battalion, Camp Geiger, Jacksonville, North Carolina and thereafter be assigned to a permanent duty station.

U.S. Navy Chief William (Alex) Ewsuk, who is stationed at Fort Story, Virginia Beach, graduated in June top of his class and received his certification for Navy Chief William Ewsuk Diesel Engine Inspector. He was commissioned as a Navy Chief in early August. His ceremony will be in Virginia sometime in September. Ewsuk graduated from Spencerport High School in 2001.
