Brianna Collichio performing at the Starbright “Rising Star” Talent Fest in 2014 Looking ahead Considering all that Brianna has already accomplished, one cannot help but wonder how she has yet to become a public sensation. “We’re not here to make Brianna famous, she has a gift and that’s meant to be shared,” said Colleen. Although the day may come where the whole world will get to hear Brianna’s voice, Colleen emphasizes on the fact that her daughter comes from a simple family carrying a beautiful message, and that’s it. “We appreciate it for what it’s worth. We appreciate everything - we appreciate every breath.” Brianna’s plans for the future involve producing more music and appearing for additional performances as they come along. Her next project will involve working with Elvio Fernandez from the band Daughtry to help write and produce her next EP. Brianna will also continue to work with her vocal coach as well as Johnny Cummings to take on even more endeavors. On December 19 Brianna will appear for her fourth consecutive performance at the annual CF Ball to raise money for Rochester patients in the name of Jenna Simmonetti. The Collichios encourage the public to attend this event in gratitude for all that the “Just Breathe” Foundation has provided for their family as well as the local CF community as a whole. All throughout Brianna’s journey, she has made it a priority to live a normal lifestyle as best as she can. Her other hobbies include playing basketball, hiking, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. Brianna clarified how she doesn’t want to be identified as the little girl with CF that can sing, but rather as a girl who can sing, but also happens to have CF. To sum it up, Brianna’s identity is herself - not her disease. No matter where life takes her, Brianna promises to stay true to herself and the Lord and live life to the very fullest. Lenhard is running for re-election and has the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party endorsements. Noelle M. Burley is running for town clerk and has the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party endorsements. Michael P. Schiano is running for Ogden town justice and has the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party endorsements, and David F. Feeney and Malcolm E. Perry are running for two seats on the town council and both have Republican, Conservative and Independence Party endorsements.
In the Town of Riga, town council member Brad O’Brocta is running unopposed for supervisor. He has the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party endorsements. Incumbent Robert Ottley is not seeking re-election. Incumbent Scott K. Okolowicz is running unopposed for Riga town justice. He has the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party endorsements. Incumbent Cynthia L. Jessop and newcomer David George are running unopposed for two open seats on the town council. Both have the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party endorsements.
politically speaking Candidate: Sandy Frankel County Executive The way a person campaigns for office is the way she’ll serve in office. My campaign has been noisy - I have been speaking out on issues that matter to the people of Monroe County, attending candidate forums, and participating in community events. This reflects my pledge that when I am County Executive, I will run an open and transparent government. You will always know what I’m doing on your behalf with the trust you place in me. Contrast this with my opponent; as part of the current Republican regime, Cheryl Dinolfo has acquiesced through her silence to their mismanagement, cronyism and corruption. My Jobs and Economic Development Plan will refocus efforts on growing jobs, job training, a new MCC Skilled Scholars Program, low interest loans that will support small business and fixing COMIDA. Cheryl’s plan calls for doubling down on the same failed approach, which has been rife with scandal and mismanagement. I have met with community leaders, clergy and families to develop a comprehensive anti-violence initiative. I have promised to restore funding to the childcare subsidy. Cheryl was nowhere to be seen during our summer of violence and blames the state - not her cronies - for the lack of childcare funding. Our beloved county is on the cusp of change and there is great promise for a prosperous future. We can’t get there by staying on the same old path. I will guide us in a positive, new direction. To provide that leadership, I ask for your vote. Sandy Frankel, Candidate County Executive
Candidate: Steve Brew 12th Legislative District As Election Day approaches, there are two questions that I would like you to ask yourself, “Is the person who I am voting for the best candidate for the job?” And, “Does this person share my values?” I’m not a career politician, but I cannot sit on the sideline and watch as our futures are dictated to us by the State’s high taxes, unfunded mandates and broken entitlement system that are causing our families to struggle. I’ve spent my entire life in this community. I still live on the farm that my family has owned for over 100 years. I know the value of hard-work and earning an honest day’s wage. I’ve spent the past thirty-four years in the private sector seeing first-hand how jobs are created and maintained. As your County Legislator, no one will fight harder for our families more than I will. I am determined to keep the property tax rate stable and to help build a businessfriendly environment so that our community can prosper. I will fight to control spending and I will support programs that help create and retain local jobs. On Election Day, you will have the opportunity to choose between two very different visions for our community – one that increases our prosperity and quality of life – or one that seeks to dismantle the positive growth that has occurred under the stewardship of the Republicans in the County Legislature. On November 3, I ask for your vote, Steve Brew for County Legislator. Thank you. Steve Brew (R, C, I), Candidate 12th Legislative District (Riga, Wheatland, Chili, Henrietta)
Candidate: Maggie Ridge Monroe County Legislature, District 12 I am a lifelong resident of Monroe County and a 14year licensed financial consultant. I have spent my career providing families with sound financial advice. Money is a limited resource and it has to be deployed diligently, strategically, and with careful attention to details. Monroe County is in dire financial straits – the headlines say it all. We pay some of the highest taxes in the nation; meanwhile we have one of the highest poverty rates. We are the most fiscally stressed county in New York State, and Rochester is the fifth poorest city in the nation. I am running for Monroe County Legislature because I want to put my love of Monroe County, my skills as a problem solver, and my years of experience as a financial consultant to good use. We need sustainable solutions and structural changes. I will fight for transparency as to where and how our hard-earned tax dollars are spent. We need to hold our government accountable and challenge them to find a better way. I want this county to be a vibrant, fiscally healthy community, ready to usher in the Photonics industry that has the potential to generate prosperity for all. I am ready for the challenge. Maggie Ridge Monroe County Legislature, District 12
Candidate: John Romagnola Monroe County Legislature, District 3 I am John Romagnola, the Democratic candidate for Monroe County Legislature, District 3. I seek this office because I see a county of enormous potential and strength, with a government that is failing its residents, especially the residents of the Westside. Westside residents pay more for snow removal, while the city and eastside pay less. Westside residents see needed projects go unrecognized and unfunded. With Monroe County’s finances on the brink of shattering, we are the most fiscally stressed county in the state. With a single view represented in the legislature, there is no pressure put on our representatives to respond to our pending fiscal crisis. Ethical questions abound. In the end, the residents of Monroe County are without a voice while their fees and taxes go up, their voices go unheard. As a businessperson in the local economy my whole life, I have had to deal with balancing budgets, creating jobs and bringing new business to the community. I stand for keeping taxes flat, eliminating wasteful spending, investing in smart economic development to create jobs and providing tax incentives to business owners that truly create jobs in Monroe County. Most of all I will stand up for the needs of the residents of the Westside of Monroe County so that services and costs are distributed fairly. This is not an issue of party affiliation. Too much partisan bickering has resulted in a county government that is at impasse. This is an issue of citizen representation. We can be fiscally sound again. We can be ethical in governing. I ask for your vote as a proud citizen of the Westside and a proud citizen of Monroe County. John Romagnola, Candidate Monroe County Legislature, District 3

Thank You
Jean S. Travis
The family of Barry Garfield Miller would like to extend our appreciation to all who contributed in honoring our son and brother. Thank you for sharing the lovely memories you have of Barry with us. We are overwhelmed by the support of the Bergen Fire Dept., all first responders, the Bergen community, and those who worked behind the scenes. Even through our many tears, we could see your undeniable, heartwarming love, in all that you did for us. There is no way to put into words how much it meant. May God bless you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Legal Notice Town of Parma Public Hearing for the 2016 Budget and Special Districts
Legal Notices
Dated: October 22, 2015 Donna K. Curry Parma Town Clerk
You have contacted a Realtor to list your home for sale, and the agent indicates that you might get more for your home than comparable homes on the market. Listen to everything, but be careful. Some realtors approach a listing appointment as if they are bidding for your home. Sellers often start out with an unrealistic opinion of their home's value, and there is a strong temptation to go with a person who says what you want to hear. A good Realtor will back up their opinion of your home's value with hard data. The agent should have information about homes that are currently on the market, and recent selling prices of comparable properties. The most heroic marketing effort will not work on an overpriced property. Even if you find a buyer who is willing to pay more than fair market value for your home, the sale could fall apart when the appraisal comes in lower than the agreed upon price.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing for the 2016 Budget and Special Districts for the Town of Parma will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., at the Parma Town Hall, 1300 Hilton Parma Corners Road, Hilton, New York. This meeting is open to all interested persons. Copies of the budget are available for viewing at the Town Clerk’s office and will be posted on the Town’s website at www.parmany.org. The proposed salaries for the following Town Elected Officials for 2016 are: $25,605.00 Supervisor Councilperson/Deputy Supervisor $ 8,500.00 3 Councilpersons ($7,216.00 each) $21,650.00 Town Clerk $39,000.00 Highway Superintendent $62,452.00 2 Town Justices ($14,841.00 each) $29,682.00

Photographer Rick Nicholson caught this scene through his camera lens on a crystal clear and cool morning Columbus Day, October 12, as sportsmen were heading out to Lake Alice to see if the salmon had started to run. Waterport Reservoir (Lake Alice) is a 335-acre hydroelectric reservoir created by damming Oak Orchard Creek in Orleans County, Town of Carlton. The NYS Barge Canal is a major tributary and fisheries influence, according to the NYSDEC. Orleans County maintains a concrete boat launch with parking for eight cars/trailers on Oak Orchard River Road (NYS Route 279). Fishermen visit the popular area year ‘round.
