Officer Chris Glogowski who is a Full Time Officer with Holley Police Department.

Holley PD continues to grow and advance over the past year. Because of the partnership with the Albion Police Department, Holley PD Officers have been able to obtain very advanced and specialized training. In the past year Holley PD Officers were trained in Advance Firearms, Advanced Emergency Vehicle Operation, Taser, Reality Based Training, Use of Force, Tire Deflation Device Deployment, Narcan Administration and Active Shooter Response. This training has allowed Holley police officers to become more versatile and a better service to the community. Over the past year Holley Police Department has upgraded their vehicles and allow for a more modern fleet. This was done by replacing an outdated vehicle that was costing a lot of money in repairs. By updating our fleet of vehicles we have reduced the overall budget payment on police vehicles by nearly half and extended the life of the vehicles. We have also reduced the down time because of break downs. The Holley Police Department has recently added body cameras that will be worn by each officer at all times. These cameras allow for a more transparent operation and will help immensely during any answer on designations and will aid in criminal prosecutions. These cameras were secured with bonds obtained by a grant from Sen. Ortt. The Holley Police Department responded to over 2500 calls for service last year that ranged from violent offenses to simple

assists to citizens in various ways. We continue to serve the public in any way we can not just any criminal investigation or law enforcement manner but as he in the community. Our officers are willing to assist in any way that we can to make our community a safer and more enjoyable place to live. We strive to provide the best service possible and sometimes this is not in a solely Law Enforcement manner. Very often Holley Police Officer are called upon to assist citizens because of their availability and the simple fact that no one else is there to assist. Officers frequently check properties, provide escorts and conduct other operations to assist citizens. The Village of Holley is a great place to live and visit and the Holley Police wish to enhance that greatness. We are comprised of both full-time and parttime officers who work shifts covering 24 hours a day. The addition of the full-time officers was done to have no impact to the budget and to allow for a more steady stable Police Department.
