SIGNATURE PROGRAMS

Youth & Government | Junior Leaders MODEL LEGISLATURE & COURT (MLC) High School Leadership & Civic Engagement Are you ready for the Y’s premier Youth Leadership & Civic Development Program since 1948? The MLC creates a six-month learn-by-doing experience that teaches the values of democracy by bringing together high school students from across the State. Come experience government first-hand and solve community problems through the democratic process, as well as debate issues with your peers. Weekly meetings begin in August. MODEL UNITED NATIONS (MUN) Middle School Leadership & Civic Engagement Middle School students, called ambassadors, participate in the program with their peers. At weekly meetings, delegates are given the opportunity to discuss international issues, discover other cultures, make new friends and enhance skills. The four month program culminates when delegates from around the state meet at the Y’s annual MUN Summit at LAX. Weekly meetings begin in January. JUNIOR LEADERS Summer Leadership Day Camp Junior Leaders is a service learning program for teens and tweens that aims to develop them to be leaders within their school and community, and focuses on community service, social development, leadership training, teambuilding and fun. All members play an active role and are responsible for achieving personal growth through goals defined by each teen. This program is a way to connect, earn volunteer hours, share new experiences and create life-long friends while promoting leadership. Free YMCA Get Summer Teen Membership required. GET SUMMER Free Teen Membership Every summer, for the months of June and July, we offer free teen membership to 12-17 year-olds. Come and Staycation with us and enjoy access to YMCA branch amenities and programs, just for you! Ages 12-17 | Fee FREE

YOUTH & TEEN CLASSES Teen Enrichment A wide range of classes, including Hip Hop, Vocal Tech, Tumbling, Cooking, Dance Team, Fit Teens, Judo Ages 11-18 | Fee FREE with Membership (there are some premium classes at a fee)

Teen Nights | Summer Kickbacks TEEN NIGHTS First Fridays

Join us for FIRST FRIDAYS every 1st Friday of the month. Join us for unique themes, as no two months are ever the same! Make new friends, hang out with old ones, and have a blast. Ages 12-17 | Fee FREE thanks to the generosity of the North Valley Family YMCA Board of Manager.

SWIM Lessons & Swim Crew

SPORTS Teen Leagues & Clinics

Program Fees: $109 (Members) $159 (Non-Member)

RESIDENT CAMP Overnights & Caravans

Program Fees: Varies based on Camp Program

FITNESS Teen Running Program

Teen Running Program offers a fun and organized environment for teens to experience running, challenge themselves to become healthier more responsible, and to build long lasting skills. The program meets every Wednesday after school from 3:30–4:30pm at the Porter Ranch Community School.
