A young girl calmly held a small snake while visiting McDale’s Petting A bullrider flew off the back of the bull during the bullriding event at the Souris River Rodeo Zoo at the Weyburn Fair on Saturday. The zoo also included a llama, on Saturday, a key feature of the Weyburn Fair. The rodeo had a wide range of events, including bronc riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, team roping and tie-down roping. chickens, ducks, rabbits and chicks for the children to visit with.

Ashton Stewart enjoyed going down the giant slide at the midway at the Weyburn Fair. The midway was filled with a variety of rides for all ages. There were also multiple food vendors set up. The rides and food vendors were all provided by Canuck Amusements.

Baylee Moore of Trossachs rounded the third and final barrel before racing to the finish line during the junior girls barrel racing event at the Souris River Rodeo on Saturday. She was a last-minute addition to the list of competitors, and she recorded a time of 16.02 seconds.

One of the final events of the 111th annual Weyburn Fair was the Rumble in Ring Demo Derby on Saturday. This year for the first time, the Demo Derby featured a mini-van mashup, which was won in the end by Jenna Metheral. Organizers said it will likely be brought back again next year.
