During the day on Saturday at the Nickle Lake Summer Party event, there was a slo-pitch tournamnet. Following right after the tournmanet, there was a home run derby. Players stepped up to bat with only a few chances to hit as many home runs as they could.

Nickle Lake Regional Park threw a Summer Party event on Saturday for everyone to enjoy. The day was filled with numerous events for all ages to enjoy. Throughout the day, the Beer Gardens had a number of different bands perform live music for the crowds to enjoy while cooling off from the heat.
