Hillsborough County is offering you an opportunity to bring your case to a close and remove the lien on your property at a greatly reduced fine amount, but only for a limited time. This is the only time the Code Compliance Amnesty Program opportunity is being offered to you and it is only valid through December 31, 2014. Once you have reviewed the attached information and decide you want to participate in this program, visit HillsboroughCounty.org/Amnesty where you will find a copy of the Application for Amnesty. If you do not have access to a computer, please contact Citizen Boards Support at (813) 272-7181 and an application will be mailed to you. All applications will be due by December 31, 2014. If you choose not to participate in this limited time Amnesty Program, you may be subject to additional proactive enforcement measures available to the County. These additional measures can include court actions resulting in monetary judgments and property foreclosure. It is our hope that your outstanding code fine and lien can be resolved with this Amnesty Program. For questions about the Code Compliance Amnesty Program, call (813) XXX-XXXX.
Sincerely,
Robert J. Sheehan, Division Director Regulatory Compliance, Citizen Boards Support & Special Projects Division
