RE: Code Enforcement Case #: (Code Case #) Address of Property In Violation: (Insert Property In Violation Address) Dear (Insert Name), It has been determined that your property has unresolved code violations and fines that affect the status of your property title and you may be eligible for an 85% reduction in fines. As of (insert date), the total of the resulting fines is approximately (Insert fine amount) and a lien was recorded against your property on (insert date) in the Hillsborough County public record (insert Book & Page # of Lien). This lien may also encumber any additional property you may own in the State of Florida. Hillsborough County is offering you an opportunity to bring your case to a close and remove the lien on your property at a greatly reduced fine amount, but only for a limited time. This is the only time the Code Compliance Amnesty Program opportunity is being offered to you and it is only valid through December 31, 2014. To find out if you are eligible, read the attached information sheet containing details about eligibility and participation in the Code Compliance Amnesty Program. Once you have reviewed the attached information and decide you want to participate in this program, contact Code Enforcement at (813) 274-6632. Provide the representative with your case number, (Insert Case #), and they will provide you with the name and contact information of the Code Enforcement Inspector assigned to your case. The inspector will advise you how to bring your property into compliance. Your fine will continue to increase daily until your property is inspected and brought into compliance. Once your property is in compliance, visit HillsboroughCounty.org/Amnesty for the application for the Amnesty program. If you do not have access to a computer, please contact Citizen Boards Support at (813) 272-7181 and an application will be mailed to you. All applications are due by December 31, 2014 If you choose not to participate in this limited time Amnesty Program, you may be subject to additional proactive enforcement measures available to the County. These additional measures can include court actions resulting in monetary judgments and property foreclosure. It is our hope that your outstanding code fine and lien can be resolved during this Amnesty Program period. If you are unable to bring your property into compliance due to extreme financial hardship, but still wish to participate in the Amnesty Program, please contact me at sheehanr@hillsboroughcounty.org so I can assist you with finding community resources to help you. For questions about the Code Compliance Amnesty Program, call (813) XXX-XXXX. Sincerely,

Robert J. Sheehan, Division Director Regulatory Compliance, Citizen Boards Support & Special Projects Division www.HillsboroughCounty.org
