So you really are going to sit Thru two dogs getting married…………… Today’s festivities are brought to you thru the deeply disturbed minds of Pam, Diane and Doris. Three woman who, clearly, need something constructive to do every day.
Wedding Participants: Lucy Louise – a beautiful terrier mix, scooped off the streets to become a pampered princess. She is full of boundless energy, loves to chase her friends and chew pillows. Ralph Lyn – adopted and loved, he is a handsome devil with a twinkle in his eye. He loves to dig holes in the yard and chew Mommy’s underwear. Finnegan Ulysses – Lucy’s younger brother and today’s ring bearer, he is full of happiness and loves to eat plants. Emmalyn– one of the “twins”, completely self-confident and does not think her butt looks big in pink ruffles. She is surely the definition of DIVA. Tater Tot – the other “twin” a man’s’, man kind of guy. When not sitting on his Mama’s lap, he ponders his future career in floral arranging or decorating.
Suriel – Our Flower Girl is a brand new best friend and is trying real hard to get this whole housebroken thing down. Yaz – doesn’t understand what all this fuss is about, he just came to party. Mother of the Bride, Pam – Definitely likes setting the stage, as long as she’s in the center. Mother of the Groom, Diane – Making the most of “her little boy’s time to shine” and our hostess today. Promises not to cry and to keep the wine flowing. Auntie Do – Our great instigator, only she could have foreseen the blossoming love affair and spun it into an opportunity for a party that includes so many dogs. “Reverend Ron” – so clearly did not know what he agreed to. Diana the wedding singer – again, must not have been thinking clearly when she agreed to sing. Aunt Joyce – somebody has to be the voice of reason.
Schedule of Events: Arrival of guests (those brave or just plain curious enough to attend) Wedding party processional (a quick trip down the aisle, before wedding attire is chewed off) Ceremony & exchange of tags (should be brief)
Jamie – our distinguished older man, can always be counted on for his charm and drool and to escort guests to their seats.
PARTY TIME (food and drink for all involved)
Ethel Louise – the Grand Dame. Regal, yet with a spark of drama, she is always the first on the sofa for a nap.
Thank you all for coming and buying into this whole silly day. Isn’t life great????
