The last week in Jesus life was full of a lot of political drama as he begain his journey into Jersalem on Palm sunday. The streets werre full of people shouting, ''Hosann, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, hossasa in the highest!'' Five days later, these same voices were now shouting ''crucify him! Jesus rose from the dead and conquered death with his eternal plan of redemption.

THE INTENTIONAL THING God’s perspective. Verse 2 and 3 says, "And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and knowledge, and if I have faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but hen a man have not love, I gain nothing". Intentional loves a woman………. The tag line, that even without completion, makes women love will figure out what will please Christ in each situation then does that melt. very thing.

What did you feel reading those words? What did you think of; the hope of abiding love, the thought of consuming love, the memory of love lost? The word LOVE, by itself, evokes mental, emotional and even a spiritual shift. It will soothe the soul when it’s right and anger the spirit when it’s wrong.
1 Corinthians 13 is often referred to as The Love Chapter, and it gives us a glimpse of what intentional love is from
The love of Christ for us in His dying was as conscious as His suffering was intentional. “By this we know love that He laid down His life for us”(1 John 1:16). If He was intentional about laying down His life, it was for us. It was love. “When Jesus knew that His Hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end” (John 13:1).
There are some kinds of love that are easy. The feeling based love. The fuzzy kind of love. The overflowing, joy-filled, crazy kind of love, but that's temporal. Then there’s the love that Jesus talks about in the Bible. The challenge is to love others as God wants us to love. The kind of love that’s a choice. The kind of love that takes effort and commitment. Eternal love. Intentional Love.
the right love, I didn't believe what I was seeing and hearing was possible. But after a lot of stormy times, emotion breaks and a roller coaster of attempts to get it right, I finally stood flat footed and looked into the face of the one that was lying to me about who I was and the love I deserved.
The way we can begin being intentional about our relationships, is to first be intentional about ourselves. Relationships, of all kinds, are hard work, to say the least. In order to interact with, spend time with, be around someone on a consistent basis is a choice. It is not a choice that should be taken lightly but should be done with purpose. Acknowledging ourselves and sitting in who we are, is a purposeful act. Before we can have a successful relationship with anyone, we must learn how to be in relationship with who we are, with who we are becoming and most importantly, with who and how God sees us.
After looking in the mirror one day, I decided to leave fear behind and to stop punishing myself. I made the choice to break up with my old thoughts, my old habits and my old mindset. I broke up with me! And I decided to take this man up on his offer of unconditional love. God's intentional love and sacrifice for me, has taught me how to love myself with the same intention. Once I began to heal the relationship I had with myself, I learned to love others better and love as God does.
1 John 4:18-19 says, "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For Have you made love a choice? If love is fear has to do with punishment, and as love does, have you taken inventory of whoever fears has not been perfected in what you're doing? Is it intentional? love."
There was a time in my life that I was in a very bad relationship and I thought, I can't get any better than this. I thought I was all that I would ever be, I thought that my life was all it would ever be. Then, one day I met a man. This man told me that he would be all that I needed. He did the right things, spoke the right words. This is impossible, I thought. This just can not be real. Of course, because of the lack in my ability to give or receive
Do you know how much God loves you? Do you know the thoughts he has towards you? Love is not a feeling. Love is a choice. God chose you! So say to yourself today, "I accept the love God has for me. I accept the love he wants to give me. I accept what God says about me". When a man loves a woman, he inspires her to be twice the woman she was before...... It's an intentional thing.

Maybe she was content being where she was. But the decree of the King had to be obeyed. So, she got herself ready; mentally, to stand before the King and physically, to look good before the King.
I guess with the help and encouragement from her cousin, she began the process of accepting that this parade was going to happen. It's most likely that Mordecia followed Esther's every move whilst she was being prepared in the palace. He was probably speaking words of encouragement to her every time he had the opportunity . Esther had twelve whole months to reflect on the turn of events in her life. I wonder what she prayed for in those twelve months? Esther went before the King, and unlike the other young virgins did not ask for anything more than that which she was advised to ask her for. Esther found favour with the King , because the bible says..'the King loved her more than all the other women' Esther 2:17
But Queen Esther's greatest test was yet to come. A man called Haman had been appointed by the King to have authority over all the officials. He was a man of great power and authortiy and many bowed down before him. Her cousin Mordecia, a Jew, refused to pay homage to Haman, nor to bow down before him. This was considered as sheer disobedience to the King's decree and an insult to Haman.
Haman became furious! The reason Mordecia would not bow down before him was because he was a Jew,! Well, in Haman's mind, there was only one way to punish this disobedience. aman found a way to convince the king to allow him to destroy all the Jews. When Mordecia found out what Haman had done, he was distressed. This sad turn of events caused many Jews to weep and wail and Esther was told about all this sorrow. The bible says, that she was gripped with fear when she heard this. Was she in fear because the King would finally find out that she was a Jew, or because she feared for her people?

THE CALVARY E XPERIENCE Four Useful Lessons To Live Your Dream
As I pondered over what I want to share with dear readers of this magazine, the Spirit of God spoke to my heart about The Calvary Experience. And so, what I am going to share with you are simple but profound lessons I have learnt from the narratives about Easter on the life of Jesus. These are life transforming lessons that can be applied by any human being under any conditions. Read them prayerfully as they minister hope and joy to your heart and learn from the greatest leader who ever lived.
The ministry of Jesus wasn’t shielded from that experience. From cradle to grave, Jesus was hated, persecuted, betrayed and crucified. The greatest of all the downturns was crucifixion or dying on the cross. By way of definition, The Calvary Experience is that period on our life journey when all seems lost. For an oil tycoon, it means the plummeting price of oil on the global market. For a family, it means the death of their breadwinner. And for the print magazine publisher, it could be the onslaught of competitive magazines that could take you out of business. Everyone alive will have a Calvary Experience. What does it take to go through your own Calvary Experience? What did Jesus do before the Calvary Experience to make Him still stand tall? That’s the focus of this article. Below are important ingredients to make a person go through his own Calvary Experience.
In the course of any idea, business, church or family, there are downturns.
“The Calvary Experience is that period on our life journey when all seems lost.''

approach. For instance, if a farmer knows when there is dry season, it helps him to prepare for alternative water supply to the crops planted. If a married couple knows that in their lives there will be times when personality crisis comes to the fore, they will not be surprise when it actually surfaces.
Jesus was not ignorant about Calvary. He knew about it inside out. Many of us who go through our own Calvary get surprised because we knew next to nothing about it. On countless occasions, Jesus told His inner core team about Calvary and when it will happen. The importance of this is that you prepare for it before it They will be well prepared with adequate knowledge happens. about themselves to go The statement what if through it and stand tall. features prominently in Knowledge is a key factor every Strategic Planning. How do you get what you know? In the case of Jesus, He was always taking direct knowledge from God. We must be knowledgeable about our fields of profession. We must know the good times and the bad in our relationships. One of my regrets after entering into courtship was that, I wish I knew that I had to know that my relationship partner comes from a different angle that could clash with my own personality. Like Jesus, we must be knowledgeable in order to go through the Calvary Experience well.

the calvary experience
PASSION We must be passionate about our cause in life. Jesus said it beautifully that we must learn to bear our own cross in life. If you have watched Mel Gibson’s The Passion Of The Christ, you will understand. The word passion in its raw essence means to suffer. Thus, to be passionate about something is to suffer for it sake in order to have it done. Jesus knew that the ultimate reason for going through Calvary wasn’t to redeem humanity from the shackles of demonic oppression. What was a downturn for Jesus was a high turn for humanity. That boosted His passion.
their properties. To your knowledge, add passion to get loaded and equipped through the Calvary Experience.
COURAGE Rick Stengel, who spent almost two years with Mandela working on his autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom: “In 1994, during the presidentialelection campaign, Mandela got on a tiny propeller plane to fly down to the killing fields of Natal and give a speech to his Zulu supporters. I agreed to meet him at the airport, where we would continue our work after his speech.
When the plane was 20 minutes from When American leadership expert Dr. landing, one of its engines failed. Some John C. Maxwell wrote the bestseller on the plane began to panic. The only titled Talent Of Never Enough, he stated thing that calmed them was looking at that passion fuels your talent. I dare say Mandela, who quietly read his that your passion during your Calvary newspaper as if he were a commuter on Experience will lift your dreams or ideas his morning train to the office. The standing. It’s the energy to cause it to airport prepared for an emergency stand still and keep going. Here is the landing, and the pilot managed to land greatest point you must note: passion is the plane safely. When Mandela and I got most needed in the face of challenges in the backseat of his bulletproof BMW and not the other way round. Everyone that would take us to the rally, he turned can pursue a dream when the doing is to me and said, “Man, I was terrified up smooth. Jesus said when the storms hit, there!”” Boldness is acting in the only the wise shall stand by their presence of intimidating forces. That’s building whilst the unwise go down with what Mandela showed.
Another virtue to develop under your sleeve is courage or boldness. When you look down the hill, it’s scary but you still throw yourself down. That’s courage! Don’t ever think it’s easy to go through Calvary. It’s tough. It’s lonely. You feel rejected by the same people who glorified you. But you must go through it anyway. In most interviews on TV, the interviewer will encourage the guest to look inside the camera and say his final words. You need to learn the ability to look into your challenges and act. A simple way to develop courage or boldness is to practice small acts of courage every blessed day. Jesus showed courage in the temple and drove the people who misused it for merchandising. He showed courage when He walked on water. He showed courage when he feed 5,000 people with little resources. If you truly want to walk in the hall of Calvary, develop courage.
threat to His ministry could not stop Him because He was driven by the external motivation of finally being with the Father at His right hand. Endurance in itself is tough. It is tiring. It is discouraging. But we must face it because it will eventually bring joy. Such was the case of Job in the Bible. For him, he never had any knowledge about the double share coming to him at the end of the tunnel but he endured the hardships that came his way. I can say for certain that every Calvary comes with a crown. You can only receive the crown when you go through it. Knowing or unknowingly, we must still go through it to discover it. You need to endure to withstand the heats of life.
The Calvary Experience is not pleasant. It is the greatest hit a business can experience. It could probably be the greatest hit a family could experience. It could be the weight to bring your health down. But in all these we are more than conquerors. The apostle John wrote in his epistle that whoever is born of God ENDURANCE overcomes the world. Calvary The writer of the biblical book of Experience was a well-crafted satanic Hebrews recorded this about Jesus, “For agenda to bring down the ministry of the joy set before him he endured the Jesus but God used it to exalt Him. What cross, scorning its shame…” (Hebrews seems to be your downturn can be your 12:2). When you watch pass your upturn. impending challenges, you can successful go through it. Dr. MARILYN E. PORTER
Our exclusive interview this month is with a frontline women, Dr. Marlilyn E. Porter. There are many things that seperates a women who speaks words of wisdom from a woman who just speaks. Marilyn has been given the gift of speaking and infusing a thought pattern that is based on the word of God. Women's Frontline caught up with her and had the opportunity to find out just who she is and what drives her.
''I come from poverty. I come from dysfunction. I come from rape. I come from not being loved. I come from not knowing who Marilyn really WAS.''
What a pleasure it is to be having this interview with you. Please introduce yourself to our readers. (Who is M.E. Porter?)
If I had to really make an introduction of who M.E. Porter is, I would have to say that I am a woman who is poised, passionate, and filled with the purposes of God to do all that He put me in the Earth to do. Now, some would say, “Your do is not your who”. However, there are certain circumstances where I disagree. I DO parenting. I am a mother. My father had not been involved in my life at all up until the age of 13 and so I know firsthand the importance of a father’s role in his daughter’s life – I made many wrong choices seeking the love of an earthly man. The Bible tells us that lack of knowledge is a recipe for death and I have died (a broken heart cause’s one to mourn as if death has occurred) many times simply because I did now have the proper knowledge of my value as a woman.
Do you have a testimony you would like to share with us?
G
od is absolutely amazing and I always want to glorify Him by telling my story. Most recently, God delivered me from a 40-year bondage (kind of reminds you of the Israelites, huh?) As a little girl, I was raped by my mother’s boyfriend. Although I have said for many years that the incident did NOT have a profound effect on my life, just about At the age of 18 it was spoken over my life that God would use my mouth – the eight weeks ago, God showed me that that was a lie; it had affected my life in a same instrument that was known to bring destruction – to bring glory to God very negative way. and save His people. Even still, I experienced lots of sin – abortion,
God showed me that through the course of my two marriages (and a few other relationships I’ve had in between) that the spirit of sexual immorality had attached itself to me – at the age of five. As such, I have been unable to maintain a happy, healthy, HOLY relationship with a man. To God be the glory for His revelation! Him revealing that to me has allowed me such an awesome opportunity to begin to walk out my deliverance. I have recently been on a three-week fasting and prayer session.
Just two days ago, the Lord showed me that I had walked out the steps of deliverance. I am FREE from the bondage of the demonic stronghold that had been on my life for 40 years! To God be the glory! It doesn’t stop there. What God has also revealed to me (and this is the testimony) is that He had elevated me to walk in Deliverance Ministry. Now, as a minister of the Gospel, I will have the honor of helping my other Brothers- and Sisters-in-Christ walk out their own steps of deliverance.
''In October of 2014 the Lord told me that I was to call myself “The Soul Shifter” and I must admit that I did hesitate to use such a bold moniker to describe myself but He has since made it very clear to me, as well as my clients and audiences that my words are indeed designed to shift the mindsets of the people, heal the emotional turmoil and redirect the will back towards Him – and so I am indeed a SOUL (mind, will and emotion) shifter.'' women's frontline magazine

read in one of your articles that from an early age, you used your gift of speaking to cause a lot of damage (speak hurtful things). How has your speaking evolved to be the person you are today? YES! My words have caused a lot of damage in the past. I spewed out a lot of hatred, a lot of disrespect, a lot of judgment, a lot of anger, and a lot of unhappiness. BUT GOD! At the age of 27, I realized I was not just a prolific speaker – that I was not just good at putting words together. At age

Now, the difference is very simple: God didn’t change my whit (I can still make a snappy comeback). He didn’t change my love for language and communication, but He sanctified my mouth. Today, I easily, excitedly, and BOLDLY speak life. I have taken time over the past 10 years of my life to go back and make restitution to many of those people I destroyed with my word. Because of God’s grace, the same mouth that once spoke curses was able to go back and speak a blessing. To God be the glory!

My heart, however, has always been outside of the four walls of the church. So, in 2013, the Lord allowed me to establish Motivational Outreach Ministers and Mentors (formerly Motivationally ME) where I served as the Minister of Motivation. I am truly speaking life into thousands of people globally. So, I would have to say that on a whole, I function in the five-fold ministry. I see Him painting an eloquent picture of His own workmanship (Ephesians 2:10) and showing me that who I really am is only who He says I am. We have the power of life and death in our tongue, so be careful how we use it.
I love how the Bible tells us everything we need to know in life. We have to e hold the power of read it and apply it. here is almost nothing in the world that can compare to the love between a father and a daughter. He is her hero, her best friend, her playmate, her teacher and her confidant. I believe in most cases a girls first love is her daddy. And in her eyes, he can do no wrong. It brings a smile to my face just thinking about it. I absolutely adored my daddy. So much so that it kind of made my mom a little jealous. Well, he was my daddy. I used to climb on his lap and play patty cake. My daddy took me to the park. My daddy bought all of my dolls. My daddy purchased my bike, skates and everything else I wanted to play with. He even purchased
Black, Barbie-like doll named "Wanda". I can laugh now, but back then, I was convinced he had that doll made especially for me. Why? Because I knew my daddy loved me. What convinced me most of my fathers love was the way he spoke to me. His words were always soft, gentle yet powerful. They made my heart melt. His words were affirming. Which is amazing because one of my love languages is affirmation. My daddy was a southern man. Full of kindness and hospitality. So growing up, he made sure to come in my room every morning and say, "good morning." If he were in a fantastic mood that day, he'd come in, kiss me on my forehead and sing, " good morning to you, good morning to you. Good morning dear Wanda, good morning to you!'
LOVE LANGUAGE between a father and a daughter
The older I got, the more embarrassing that became. Some days my daddy, who grew an assortment of roses in the backyard, would cut a few roses, put them in a glass and place them on my dresser before I would wake up. Each time I saw them I would run and find him, kiss him and hug his neck and say, "thank you daddy. They are so pretty!" He would reply, "just like you my baby." A fathers words to his children are very important. Especially to his daughter. Proverbs 18:21 states, The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat it's fruit. Words aren't just sounds. They possess power. Let's examine the power of wordsWords entertain, words deceive, nurture, nurse, sustain and maintain. Words can cause one to harbor resentment. Words can cause one to feel or cause you to go along with. Words can change your countenance. As I stipulated earlier, they have POWER! God formed and framed the world
with His words. He spoke the world into being by the power of His words. (Hebrews 11:3). So if we refer back to Proverbs 18:21, knowing that God honors the words that come out of your mouth, imagine the power given to a father to use words to speak into his children's life.....his daughters life. As a parent, you can do great harm to your child and that harm can follow them throughout life. I read an article written by a gentleman who had a prison ministry. Most of the prisoners shared with him how either their mother or father hurt them deeply with their words. When our children make us mad or disappoints us, it's easy to let our feelings and emotions get the best of us. But we must be careful not to speak hurtful, negative things over our children carelessly. Matthew 12:33-35 speaks on the condition of your heart and how it affects your words. "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

love unconditionally
O
ver these past three or four weeks, I have been experiencing loneliness, a great way to tie into the theme of “Relationships”. God loves to put a lot of thought into each and every detail in such a short amount of time. Coincidentally at this time in my life I can tell you exactly how important it is to have a good relationship. God didn’t create man to be lonely. He created us to love, and be loved. Every person that you go past is not an inconvenience, they are all His
creation. You only have to listen to God and keep your eyes open. Every person has a chance of becoming greater in His image, in His footsteps, by seeing you doing His will, seeing the love that He has shown through you. Most Christians don’t see people as wonderfully and beautifully made creations of God. When you go up to the counter, the person waiting on you is either smiling or upset in some way, what do you do? Do you just take your newly purchased items and go, wish them good luck, or do you start talking to them? God wants us to share the news with everyone, through love.

He doesn’t want you to just go up to a stranger and say “You need Jesus!” and then ask them if they want to come to church with you. That may work in some cases, but they are not just going to repent and follow a stranger unless if they have thought about it previously. Offer to pray for them, don’t just come up to them and tell them about Jesus, show love before laying out the news. Usually I am not the kind of person to stand up like this, but in order for the world to be saved we have to show His love. If you don’t know how to show them the truth, show them love, by giving them attention and showing that there is someone that cares and listens to them. Some people don’t want to talk or be prayed for, so just pray for them in your sanctuary, or in your few silent minutes in your day. God will take care of them if you invite Him to.
around me that I didn’t know. I thought it was someone else’s job. Then being the lonely person that I am right now, I immediately looked at the things that I couldn’t do. (Not the right thing to look for) I couldn’t speak without pausing my sentences, and I didn’t know how to talk to strangers or even my friends and family, what was I supposed to do? My shy personality put a roadblock in my abilities. Then a friend reminded me of my talent, writing. I may not necessarily be the best at it, but I get my words across. (I think) Love those who wait for Him, the ones who don’t know that they are waiting for Him, those who cannot even see clearly and just want to give up. Love everybody to show the light of His Kingdom. What you sow, is what you will harvest.
My dad preached about this, last Sunday, and it hit home with me. I hadn’t even tried to help anyone

e live in a world where our minds have been shrouded with the word "I am a feminist and seek equality with men"; but that is not all that there is. "SHE" in this context is a feminist, but transcends feminism. WHO IS SHE?. "SHE" is a godly unique woman who is special, set apart and created specially to make a difference in her world. SHE is an embodiment of Proverbs 31. Hence "SHE SPEAKS" encapsulates a godly woman whose attributes speaks, shines, blossoms, for the world to emulate. This transcends a woman who has all the biological and physical make-up of a woman, it means a strong, bold woman who has discovered her purpose on earth and reason for existence. STAY CONFIDENT IN THE CREATOR. Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Strong women know where their worth is found- at the foot of the cross, where Jesus made us worthy. Other women may search for worth in fame, popularity, money, love, status….. but not the strong woman. She needs nothing but the Lord’s still small voice saying, “Darling, you are loved.” No matter what comes her way, her faith is unshaken, and her view of her worth in Christ is consistent because God loves her unconditionally.

BALANCE Whatever your task, may be, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23 Balance in our lives is essential for us to be able to master and control the way we choose to live. The Apostle Paul emphasised this in his letter to the Colossians that we should take our task seriously and do it for the Lord. To live with purpose is to be able to fully dedicate ourselves to something and constantly reevaluate our progress. . However, it is essential that we also know what our true passion is. To have a passion for something is basically to have a desire to do something you love. When you find out what you love to do, then be sure to put everything in it. To be able to identify the passion and focus on it is the key to transforming a dream into a vision.

It will however take a very disciplined lifestyle to be able to achieve success. Hardwork requires sacrifice, long hours and many coffee breaks! As women, we tend to be driven by our state of mind or emotions and if we do not learn to control ourselves, it can actually hinder us from doing our best. We must learn to deal with our feelings and not let them influence our daily performance. I suppose it's like going against the wind. When you feel that it's too hard, do it anyway. The rewards from being obedient to God's call are great. It will obviously take time to actually see the results of your hardwork, so do not be discouraged if you think it is taking too long. We can only do our best, and it takes commitment and the right attitude to achieve what we want to achieve in life. Every step we take determines where we go and how we are going to get there. Relationships & Words In today's society, relationships are not looked upon as something serious anymore. Celebrities and reality TV shows puts a stigma on relationships, boxing it into something mediocre. Being faithful and loyal in a relationship nowadays is very scarce because it seems as though everyone becomes easily distracted by what they think is better. Physical attributes plays a MAJOR role in the tone of a relationship. There is a standard that everyone wants when it comes to how someone looks, dresses, how long their hair should be, and so on and so forth. What happened to liking someone because of their personality? Because of
how they make you feel? Because of the way they treats you? It seems as if relationships are based off status and money. No one is dating towards marriage. If one starts to look at the individual in their relationship that they are dating as someone they could possibly marry, maybe the outlook on relationships will be more solid, interesting, and worth it. No one is willing to wait anymore. The Bible speaks on not being involved with someone that is not your spouse for a reason. So many things can be avoided if we were to follow the guidelines of the Bible when it comes to relationships. Teen pregnancy would not be as high. Single parenting

would not be as high, and STD's among our teens would not be as high. Is it easier said than done? Of course. Is it possible? It's according to the individual. When going into a relationship, both parties should make sure they are both mentally prepared to handle the ups and downs of a relationship, and if it doesn't work out how one intended, give yourself time to heal and time to yourself to evaluate exactly what it is you are capable of bringing into a relationship. s women of God – women in general – we have such a profound effect on everyone around us, primarily by the words we introduce into the atmosphere. As mothers, we have the power to speak life into our children that would put any enemy at bay. How you ask can a mother’s words help her child defeat attacks from the enemy? Simple, when mother speak life, they speak wholeness, strength, confidence and most importantly God’s love; all of which make the enemy’s case against anyone weaker.
counseled with many married couples, and I have been in marriage counseling myself where the primary cause of the marital breakdown has been words spoken that brought death and not life. I’ll share my own story. In 1997 I was married for the second time and I was certain that the first marriage had not worked due to my husband’s infidelity – what I did nderstand was that my words had completely dismantled my husband’s confidence in his ability to be my husband – or a man for that matter. I would spew all kinds of wicked nouns, verbs and adjectives his way. One day he came home with a new car, well a used car but it was new to us.

I was young at the time, but even then I understood the power of what has just took place – I had murdered him with my words. We were married 12 years after that and I never ever regained footing with my words I had scarred the conversation between us.
