Dear WGI Community, It is safe to say these past weeks have been among some of the most tumultuous and

emotional than any of us can remember. The abrupt end to the WGI season, with all its promises of small and big moments, left us to discover something profound and moving about ourselves: an overpowering wish to be connected with one another. The role of connecting people is one that WGI has been privileged to play for over

Winter Guard International (WGI) Sport of the Arts is the world’s premier non-profit organization producing indoor color guard, percussion, and wind ensemble competitions. It is called the Sport of the Arts because it brings music and motion to life through performance in a competitive format. The performers, instructors, designers, families, fans, staff, volunteers, sponsors and vendors who make up the indoor marching arts...You are WGI. WGI Sport of the Arts exists to provide a venue for young people to achieve the extraordinary through performance and competition. While the 2020 season may have been cut short, you taught us that WGI is more than a score, more than an arena, more than an event. Performers still experienced the personal growth that this activity ignites. Performers still learned how important teamwork and perseverance are in all aspects of life. Performers still built and strengthened relationships they’ll cherish forever. So let’s celebrate the friendships, let’s celebrate the amazing music and art you produced, let’s celebrate and cheer for each other louder than ever. Let’s celebrate this season, and all other seasons that led us to today. Keep practicing, keep dreaming, and keep your head up, because WGI 2021 is just around the corner. I am WGI. You are WGI. We are WGI.

Dear WGI Community, It is safe to say these past weeks have been among some of the most tumultuous and

The abrupt end to the WGI season, with all its promises of small and big moments, left us to discover something profound and moving about ourselves: an overpowering wish to be connected with one another. The judging community is a body of professionals often trained in dance, theatre, and art. Their color guard experience combined with extensive study, guided by WGI’s judge philosophy, give WGI’s judges the expertise to reward the efforts and achievements of today’s performers. After a period of of judging for one of WGI’s Circuit Partners, WGI Color Guard Judges undergo a rigorous training program including a home study, a Judge Academy, an extensive trial period of judging guards in every class, and participating in a continuing education program that encompasses annual study requirements and clinics. WGI thanks each of the individuals listed below for signing up to judge at the 2020 WGI Color Guard World Championships.

We are WGI.

DSI offers the most complete line of products for your color guArd. Used by more drum corps, winter guards, high schools, and colleges than any other brand.
ELITE RIFLES The most durable and perfectly balanced rifle in the industry. Elite Rifles are the Official Rifles of WGI.
EVER-DRI GLOVES Don’t be fooled by cheap imitations of the industry’s best selling color guard glove. The Ever-Dri gloves are the most durable and longest lasting guard gloves you can buy and still machine washable. Ever-Dri Gloves are the Official Gloves of WGI.
BEST SELLER
FLAGS & ACCESSORIES DSI offers a full line of cut and sewn, digital, hybrid, swing, practice, and performance flags in a huge variety of colors and sizes. You can even design your own.
ARC 1 RIFLE
EXCALIBUR
Inspired by traditional Elite Rifles, this “non-weapon” alternative is great for strict school codes. Available in 37.5” length.
EVER-JAZZ SHOES Flexible, stylish, and designed for dancers by dancers. All of the features of an indoor jazz shoe but made for outdoor use. The Ever-Jazz shoes have soles that are sewn on so they never separate away from the upper like other copycat products. Plus, the Ever-Jazz are 100% machine washable!
DSI strives to develop superior products that you can trust and has a long history of providing these products to the world’s top performers. Because of this, DSI is proud to have created the Official Rifle, the Official Sabre, and the Official Glove of WGI.
