PLAY SENSE CREATE & EXPLORE ART Saturdays – individual booked sessions from October - December Ages 5–11 (Play Sense Create) and ages 10–16 (Explore) with Additional Support Needs/Disabilities. Our accessible multi-arts projects are running in person one-to-one and small group supportive sessions for participants and their families. Messy art, sensory play, music, film, photography and fun! Performances & Workshops 'ONCE UPON A SNOWSTORM' Friday 2nd December, 6pm and Saturday 3rd December, 2pm. (Shows last 45mins each.) Once Upon a Snowstorm tells the story of a father and his son who live an isolated life in a cabin in the woods. Suitable for ages 5-8 and their grown ups. Book your place. 'HIBERNATE' Saturday 17th December, 10.30am, 2pm ( Show is 35 mins, whole experience 1hr) An old mouse attempts to create the perfect place to snuggle down for a long winter’s nap. Inside their humble home, they’re ready to hide away from the world outside…until a rambunctious squirrel absentmindedly stumbles into their serene sleeping abode. Want to take part? Just drop one or more artworks that you've made (in ANY medium) off at WHALE Arts from 10 am - 4 pm on Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th or Thursday 27th October. EVERYONE that lives or works in Wester Hailes can submit one or more artworks for display. Community MEMBERS' BREAKFASTS First Tuesday of the month 9am -10am. (4th October, 1st November, 6th December) Members are invited to a Members’ Breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of every month. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss what is going on at WHALE currently and have a say in what happens here in the future. New members welcome!
