how prospective buyers at NHG Homes’ Royal Albert Wharf development can get cash towards their deposit

NHG Homes’ latest incentive for prospective buyers comes as something of an early Christmas present.
The housing provider is offering a deposit matching scheme, where those reserving a property at Royal Albert Wharf before December 25, can get up to £25,000 to increase the size of their deposit.
The incentive applies to selected properties at the Royal Docks development and is intended to help buyers make their purchase sooner and perhaps allow them to access a better mortgage rate –typically available to those with more cash to put into bricks and mortar.
Royal Albert Wharf is part of a 15-year regeneration project and offers newly built homes overlooking the Thames and the docks. One and two-bedroom apartments are currently available for private sale, with prices starting at £375,000 and £495,000, respectively. All boast open-plan living space and either balconies or terraces. Fully fitted kitchens include integrated Bosch appliances, with built-in wardrobes for storage in bedrooms and heated

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS WASTE REGULATIONS AND TIME BANDED WASTE COLLECTIONS NOTICE
On 2 October 2024 the London Borough of Tower Hamlets implemented new regulations governing the management of household and commercial waste, namely the Household Waste Regulations 2024 and the Commercial Waste Regulations 2024.
The new regulations include a schedule of time bands for waste collections. Notice is hereby given that at 00.01 on Monday 2 December 2024 the Household Waste Regulations 2024 and the Commercial Waste Regulations 2024 will come into effect.
The general effect of the schedule of time bands for waste collections is to establish a system of time-banded waste collection, whereby waste must be placed out for collection within specific, two-hour time windows. This will involve designating certain streets and properties as ‘time-banded,’ requiring residents to adhere to these specific collection times.
The regulations can be viewed on the council’s website www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/timedcollections
Hard copies of the regulations can be inspected between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday at Tower Hamlets Town Hall, 160 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1BJ. Until 31 March 2025.
