“The campus was a perfect fit for me. It wasn’t big enough to be intimidating and not so small where I’d want to constantly leave. It was somewhere I felt I could call home.”

Guaranteed internship funding
Wheaton values on-the-job learning experiences so much that we annually invest more than $1.2 million in funding to support them. Through the junior year summer stipend and other programs, we are able to guarantee that every student will have the opportunity to access a professional internship, research-based internship or other experiential learning opportunity before the start of their senior year.
Our Filene Center for Academic Advising and Career Services provides essential programs and services to help guide students to success. Advisors offer workshops that focus on career skills, such as resume and cover writing, as well as numerous opportunities for students to connect with employers and build their professional networks.
These opportunities are one aspect of what we call the Wheaton Edge—a personalized, engaging educational experience that helps our students follow a unique path to success, in a competitive, increasingly global market.

“I was looking for a school that would give me the resources and attention I needed to learn as much as possible and get connected to a strong network. I’m privileged to have access to my professors, advisors and the staff on campus because they bring a willingness to invest in the students both academically and professionally.”
