WELCOME STAY ACTIVE is a quarterly publication for active adults designed to bring you news about activities, events and trips. Our goal is to help you feel welcome and provide you with lots of social and active options to fill your days with memorable experiences. Need a Ride to the CRC? Wheeling Township offers bus service for Wheeling Township residents Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Call 847-259-7743 between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:30 pm to schedule transportation. Reservations should be made two days before the travel date.
DROP-IN PROGRAMS Must be at least 55 years old to participate. All Drop-In Programs are free of charge and meet at the CRC.

THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY FEAST
Location: Chevy Chase Country Club • Registration Deadline: 11/14 Fee: Free FOR RESIDENTS ONLY • Registrations: 847-465-3333 The Wheeling Park District Board of Commissioners cordially invite Wheeling Park District residents and their families to a FREE Thanksgiving Community Feast at Chevy Chase Country Club. The event features a traditional Thanksgiving-style meal (turkey, stuffing, potatoes and more) along with activities and giveaways. The feast is free, but cash donations will be accepted to benefit the Family Learning Program, an initiative that provides affordable and accessible learning opportunities for second - language families (adults and children) and empowers them to become active participants in all aspects of the school community.

Monday, January 27 Please welcome actor-singer Jilliann Gabrielle as she portrays Hedda Hopper– the fabled gossip columnist who reigned over Hollywood from the 1930s through the 1950s. Wheeling Walks
Location: Heritage Park • Fee: Free Form a healthy habit by walking regularly! Join our walking club every Wednesday at 10:00 am and every Saturday at 9:30 am. Meet at the Heritage Park Performance Pavilion. In case of inclement weather, meet on the walking track on the second floor of the CRC. Wheeling Walks is a free, year-round program presented in cooperation with the Village of Wheeling Board of Health.
