Therolesofateacheraresomanyandsovariedthatitisimpossibletolistthemall,butoneofthe mostimportantispreparingstudentstolearn,notonlyintheclassroom,buteverywhere,andforthe restoftheirlives.Learningisnotaskillthatisnecessarilyinstinctualoreasy,andthereforedifferent approachesmustbeusedtomakelearningeasierandmorefunforstudents.Teachingisnotaskill thatcanbememorizedormaderepetitive,andsoteachersmustcontinuetochallengenotonlytheir students,butalsothemselves.Teachersthatbecomecomplacentintheirjobsarenotgoodteachers.
