ThisreflectionpaperwillattempttoexplorethegriefandlossofmyfatherasitrelatestoStroebe andSchut'sDualProcessModelofBereavementandNeimeyer'sMeaningConstructionModel (citedinSLister,2008)

Iwillexpandonthetwomodelsandpositthatthebereavementprocessisacombinationofboththe dualprocessandthemeaningconstructionmodelsasitrelatestomygrievingprocessovertheloss ofmyfatheronshowmorecontent

Thebereavedpersonwilloscillatebetweenthelossofthelovedone,themeaningofthelossand howitrelatestotheperson'slife,theircircumstancesandtheirrelationshiptothedeceased.Thisis thedefinitionoftherestorativeorientationwhentheindividualoscillatesbetweentheemotions surroundingthelossandattimesengaginginactivitiesthateitherignoreordenytheemotionsofthe loss(SLister,andal,pg246)
