Sparrow Lane Vinegar Great vinegar starts with great wine. Sparrow Lane was founded in 1998 as a result of the increasing demand for more flavor and quality options by the chefs in the Napa Valley. Using the finest fruits grown in world class growing regions in California, Sparrow Lane hand-crafts each flavor and ages them in oak cooperage. Sparrow Lane sets the standard for quality and flavor in wine vinegars. Golden White Balsamic Vinegar - SL101 Honey colored with the slight floral tones of the sweet Muscat Grape. Delightfully sweet with just enough pucker. Fabulous as a reduction for your cheese and fruit course or a spinach & cranberry salad with toasted almonds and crumbled goat cheese. Acidity - 6%. 1 gal. Zinfandel Vinegar - SL102 Oxidized red in color, old vine flavors with plenty of pepper and spice and slight port overtones. Goes well with Arugula greens dressed with EVOO and topped with feta cheese and smoky bacon bits Acidity - 6%. 1 gal. Cabernet Sauvignon Vinegar - SL103/77703 Ruby red color, lush and full bodied. Make a rich marinade for beef, chicken or pork by mixing with a bay leaf, cranberry juice, dried cranberries and beef stock. Acidity - 6%. 1 gal or 12/750 ml. Champagne Vinegar - SL104/77704 Delicate, crisp and fresh, with the color of fresh churned butter. Great with seafood salads or hollandaise. Makes the perfect vinaigrette for dressing fresh grilled asparagus. Acidity - 6%. 1 gal or 12/750 ml. Gravenstein Apple Cider Vinegar - SL105 Fresh Sebastopol apples give this rich golden colored vinegar a crisp zing! Try whisking with walnut oil and serve over a bed of baby spinach leaves and cucumber topped with crumbled bacon and feta cheese. Toss on some toasted pine nuts for added crunch. Acidity - 5%. 1 gal. Dark Red Balsamic Vinegar - SL100 Rich dark brown color with slightly sweet silky hints of caramel. Drizzle on grilled radicchio topped with shaved Parmigiano Reggiano or crispy grilled polenta. Acidity - 6%. 1 gal. White Wine Vinegar - SL106 Slight golden color, smooth, crisp and clean. Use a splash or two to wake up a sauce or balance the flavors without adding fat. Excellent for bringing out the sweetness in fresh melon or strawberries. Acidity - 6%. 1 gal. D'Anjou Pear Vinegar - 77705 Light yellow color with a luscious crisp pear flavor. Mix with EVOO to give any salad a refreshing flavor. Superb with baby romaine leaves, diced celery, chopped red delicious apples, a little white onion, chopped parsley, fresh ricotta cheese, and fresh cracked pepper. Acidity - 6%. 1 gal. Walnut Champagne Vinegar - 77702 Smooth golden brown color. Light and crisp with a nutty finish. Blend with EVOO then enjoy as a compliment to a salad of endive, baby greens, chopped Fuji apples and crumbled blue cheese. Acidity - 6%. 1 gal. Sherry Vinegar - 77701 Deep rose color with a smooth and assertive crisp deep oak flavor. Perfect for deglazing pans and perking up sauces. Try in soups stews or dressings. Acidity - 6%. 1 gal.
