The Luncheon Club has been meeting on the last Thursday of January - April and September - December for over 50 years, and in 2022 will celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a special lunch. We are a friendly group and enjoy each other’s company and conversation, and a varied programme of speakers at each meeting. We re-open 4th January after our Christmas break. STORY TOTS every Monday during term time 10:30am -11:15am (start back on 10th after Christmas Holidays) IT BUDDIES - If anyone needs any help with getting started on computers we have FREE bookable sessions available with our IT buddy. We can help with online forms, setting up email, basic IT skills etc. STUDY AREAS for students with sockets for technology and free wifi PRINTING AND PHOTOCOPYING available 10p per B&W A4 sheet 50p A4 colour ROOMS AVAILABLE to hire for small groups or meetings VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES - Can you spare some time to help in your library? If you can spare the time, from shelving books to passing on local knowledge, to picking books for housebound users, delivery drivers, IT buddies, craft events... We would love to get more local people on board to help out and keep the library running smoothly for the community.
