Fourth of July will be celebrated this Sunday. The Fourth of July—also known as Independence Day or July 4—has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. A fireworks show is planned in White Bear Lake on July 4 at 10 p.m., near West Park/ Memorial Beach. Music and festivities begin at 8 p.m. See additional 4th of July events on page 9.

The exuberant youngster was featured in a June 2 piece by a SEE JUSTIFY, PAGE 13
