Young organist performs free concert
Andrew Johnson, a prize-winning organist, will be perform a concert at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church Friday, July 28 at 7 p.m. Johnson will play on the one-of-a-kind Casavant-Schantz organ with over 7000 pipes, the largest organ in the state. Johnson just returned from Toronto where he was a soloist for a convention of the Royal Canadian College of Organists. He will begin doctoral studies at the Eastman School of Music this fall. The program in the Sanctuary is free, and a free-will offering will be received.
