The Idealised explores a utopian world juxtaposed by the reality of society’s expectations for adolescence. The collection explores surrealistic design principles, delving into the realms of the uncanny and tapping into the depths of the unconscious mind. It intertwines unique print designs with a discordant colour scheme, all the while evoking a sense of protection and concealment through contemporary silhouettes. The Real and The Idealised is a deliberate and powerful statement on challenging conventional notions of gender. Designed to captivate and inspire through playful yet impactful fashion elements, evoking an emotional response in the eyes of the viewer.
