The west coast of Scotland celebrates its glorious past with an eye clearly on the future. In 1860, the Open first came to the west coast of Scotland, when it was played at Prestwick. Since this time, the competition has become the greatest golfing event in the world with Ayrshire firmly at its heart.

Established in 1891, Largs Golf Club is situated south of the town of Largs in North Ayrshire with spectacular views of the Clyde Estuary and neighbouring islands of Cumbrae, Bute and Arran.

The Largs course boasts fantastic scenery with a variety of fauna and flora seen dotted around the golf course.
