Titled: Will They Sting Us? Pen, ink and wash drawing on paper, monogrammed with artist signature in pencil, lower right. A lively scene of woman holding pan and mallet drawling the attention of the bees as children stand holding a sheep close by and a dog. This highly sought piece is nicely framed and double matted in a wide gold mat with the title WILL THEY STING US? and a complementary deep green. Sight size: 12”L x 9”H. Frame size: 12.25”L x 9”H.

PAIR OF ROYAL DOULTON FLORENCE BARLOW STONEWARE VASES

Pate-sur-pate decoration of sparrows on grape and modelled foliate forms in Art Nouveau style. Artist incised on bottom of both vases. Sparrows resting and flying. This scene is elegantly framed in tubeline in classic cream color and modelled foliate forms in Art Nouveau style in complementary high glazed washes of caramel brown and soft sage green. Royal Doulton England impressed.
