6-7– District Project

Hey Keyclubbers?! How do you feel? It’s almost time for DCON and it sucks that we can’t take more people. We are hoping to change that next year! As for now read this newsletter for updates and upcoming events. ~Stephanie Juarez


MEETING UPDATE JAN. 28 -Read Across America will be in the first week of March -DCON attendees will be Manny, Jacky, Alonso,

Miguel, and Stephanie. -We will not be doing pennies for patients -Elections coming up!

Divisional Information -There will be a divisional council meeting on Feb 21. The time and date have not yet been decided. -Divisional Shirts?

DCON MARCH 13-15 IN SEATTLE


Candidate 1: Alonso Perez Alonso will be a junior next year . He has been in key club since his freshman year. He is currently the ASB Key Club Representative he believes he can make a difference and he hopes to increase the number of members. Alonso likes to interact with people and he plays soccer.

Candidate 1: Manny Hidalgo Manny will be a junior next year, has also been in key club since his freshman year. He is currently the Key Club Treasurer. He wants to make a difference in the club and he gets along with Alonso. He loves helping and he is very involved in school by playing basketball and soccer.

Candidate 2: Miguel Urrutia Miguel will be a sophomore and he wants to be more involved next year. He has leadership and is currently enrolled in FBLA and is also planning to join Tennis along with working for Mr. Smith next year but other than that he is dedicated to key club. He likes to help people and wants to get as many community service hours possible

Candidate 1: Jaqueline Hidalgo Jackie will be a sophomore next year and she wants to experience what being an officer is like. She wants to be more involved and get community hours. She is the treasurer for class of 2018. She enjoys doing sports and plays soccer and basketball.


Candidate 1: Stephanie Juarez Stephanie will be a Senior next year. She joined Key club at the end of her sophomore year. She is currently the Key Club editor. She is involved in various activities in school. She likes to help people and likes to get community service hours.

Vivian Diaz and Polet Fuentes will be running for an officer position but still haven’t turned in their paperwork. Because it is still open to them, we will open it up to anyone else who still wants to apply for an officer position. We still need people to apply for secretary and ASB rep. positions. If you are interested in being a key club officer stop by Mrs. Martinez’s office to pick up an application. Thank you! And good luck to all those who apply!
