1865 – Blacks in Texas are notified of the Emancipation Proclamation, issued two years earlier, marking the beginning of "Juneteenth."
1918 – John H. Johnson, editor and publisher of Jet and Ebony magazines and founder of Johnson Publishing Company, is born.
1948 – Actress Phylicia Rashad, best known for her role as Clair Huxtable in "The Cosby Show," is born in Houston.

1877 – Homy Ossian Flipper, U.S. soldier and former slave, becomes the first African American to graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point, earning a commission as a 2nd lieutenant in the Army.
1913 – Effie O'Neal, the first Black woman to hold an executive position in the American Medical Association, is born.
1921 – Aviator Bessie Coleman becomes the first African American woman to earn a pilot's license and an international aviation license from the Fed6ration Aéronautique Internationale.
1969 – Rapper, actor and filmmaker Ice Cube, member of seminal hip-hop group N.W.A., is born in Los Angeles. 1996 – Iconic jazz chanteuse Ella Fitzgerald, also known as the "First Lady of Song," "Queen of Jazz" and "Lady Ella," dies in Beverly Hills.

1942 – Eddie Levert, lead singer of the R&B group The O'Jays and father of Gerald and Sean Levert, is born in Bessemer, Alabama.
1971 – Iconic rapper and actor Tupac Shakur is born in the East Harlem section of Manhattan, New York.
1975 – Singer and actor Adam Wade becomes the first African American game show host, helming CBS's "Musical Chairs."

1949 – Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lionel Richie is born in Tuskegee, Alabama.
1960 – Harry Belafonte becomes the first African American to win an Emmy Award for his special "Tonight with Harry Belafonte."
1967 – Muhammad Ali is convicted in federal court of violating the Selective Service Act by refusing induction into the armed services. He was fined $10,000 and sentenced to five years in prison. Ali, who opposed the Vietnam War, refused to report for service on grounds of his religion of Islam.

1927 – Former Cleveland Mayor Carl Stokes, the first African American elected mayor of a major city, is born.
1945 – Col. Benjamin O. Davis Jr. becomes the first African American to command a U.S. Army Air Corps base. WI

Former President Donald Trump has been federally indicted in a classified-documents probe on numerous felony charges. If convicted, Trump faces a maximum punishment of 400 years in prison.

Nothing will happen to Trump, and unfortunately, he could possibly be the next president. He has followers that are exactly like him. He lets us know that he’s the witch in the witch hunt that he’s forever speaking about!

He has a fairly good chance of being convicted. The only thing that would stop it is if Joe Biden decides to pardon him, and don’t be surprised if he does.
