Alex Febres began his career with WFCU in October of 2019 as a Consumer Loan Specialist. Alex is from Caracas, Venezuela, and received his law degree and a master’s degree in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Alex said earning his law degree and living successfully in the foreign country of Argentina are two of his most significant accomplishments, in addition to finding and marrying his wife, Julie. Alex loves to travel, especially to large cities. Copenhagen, New York City, and Buenos Aires are a few of his favorites. If he’s not traveling, he’s watching or playing soccer, spending time with his family, working out, or cooking great new vegan meals.
Alex takes great pride in helping people and bettering himself both in life and in his work at WFCU. We asked Alex what he loves most about working for WFCU, and he said, “I love being an active part of my community, I love to help and engage with the community members, and I feel that by working at WFCU, I have the opportunity to do both.”

He added, “Helping members build their credit and achieve their financial goals is priceless. Plus, my coworkers are pretty awesome. I can say that I feel at home at WFCU.” Watch for more WFCU team members in upcoming newsletters. Alex
