Established by Benedictine Monks during the 1040’s, Abbotsbury Swannery is a unique attraction where you are able to walk through the heart of a colony of Mute Swans. At this time of year there should be plenty of Signets to see..ahhh. Abbotsbury is located to the west of Weymouth and offers a fantastic day out. After spending time at The Swannery we travel to the nearby Sup Tropical Gardens, described by Alan Titchmarsh as “One of the finest gardens I have ever visited”. In the late 19th century the creative Messel family bought the Nymans estate in the Sussex High Weald with the intention of making a dream country house. They created one of the country's great gardens with experimental designs and plants from around the world. Come along to one of the most glamourous events in the British Sporting calendar with a chance to enjoy the superb racing. Today there are three Group One races the Queen Anne Stakes, the King’s Stand Stakes and the St James’s Palace Stakes which often attracts horses that have run in the English, French and Irish 2,000 Guineas. We have reserved tickets for the Windsor Enclosure, which is located on the straight mile, offering a vibrant and exciting experience. Be the first to see the Royal Procession as The Queen’s landau passes the railings and the first to hear the thunder of the hooves. There are a number of food and drink outlets available or picnics are allowed - they must be brought in a picnic hamper or cool bag/box. Although no formal dress code applies, racegoers are encouraged to wear smart clothes. Wednesday 20th Isle of Wight Tour with local guide

ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR DAYS. After joining the ferry from Lymington we will be joined by one of our local guides for a tour of the Island – we try to see as much as possible during the day. The island boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline and beautiful countryside. We take in many of the best sights and usually include Newport, Sandown, Godshill, Shanklin, Ventnor, Freshwater and Alum Bay. There will be a main stop for lunch. A great day out. Lovely day out to enjoy the beautiful scenery of West Dorset and East Devon before stopping at the excellent Hare & Hounds Pub near Sidmouth. Thursday 21st Buscot Park & The Faringdon Collection - National Trust ROUTE C Wow! Undoubtably one of the best National Trust properties we have visited. Located in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with extensive grounds, Buscot Park is the family home of Lord Faringdon. Built in the Italianate country houses style between 1780 and 1783, the estate has a fascinating history which has left the estate with a remarkable legacy. There is a variety of attractions - from formal gardens to woodlands. There are plenty of lovely viewpoints and a selection of architectural sculptures adds interest to your visit. Day 2: After breakfast we board the coach and are joined by a local guide for a panoramic tour across the city. This should include most of the major landmarks including the town hall, Salford Quays, MediaCity, Old Trafford Football Stadium, Gorton Monastery, John Rylands Library, The Lowry and much more.
