■ Prepare for graduate study through a pre-professional pathway in dental, law, medicine, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, or veterinary.
■ Several undergraduate majors roll into an accelerated 4+1 program . Earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years instead of the typical six—saving you time and money. Many other majors can roll into accelerated 3+3 programs leading to doctoral degrees in physical therapy or occupational therapy or a JD in law.
■ Realize your specific vision for the future by adding one of our 50+ minors and certificates to your undergraduate degree. These include minors in African & African American studies and Italian and certificates in Latin American & Caribbean studies and philosophy.

Gain hands-on experience in three student-managed computer laboratories.
Perform research right on campus through the observatory’s 16-inch computerized Meade Cassegrain reflecting telescope.
Conduct environmental research in a 30-acre outdoor laboratory.
Polish your skills in front of or behind the camera in the fully equipped studio that’s home to WUTV, Widener Sports Network, and WUFilms.
From the stage to the studio, you’ll feel empowered to pursue your passions and build your community through extracurricular activities for arts & sciences students.
