Transit Oriented Development Planning : 2009

The project was part of bachelor of urban planning final project. According to the data and analysis indicated that Payathai station which soon to be center of the transport hub. The station would become increasingly over populated with transferring commuter and increase the traffic jam in the are Furthermore, the developers were poised to demolish their existing buildings to take advantage of the Transport hub and increase the building density. Therefore, the design were aimed to envision and planned the area using TOD principles to accommodate the changes and to prevent the future traffic congestion

The building surrounding the station were designed to condense near the station to take advantage of the cluster and gradually lessen to residential according to TOD principles.

The design to organize and distribute the commuter had been introduced by increasing the circulation platform to accommodate the transferring commuter and distribute them accordingly.

The area to accommodate the commuter life style had been introduced adjacent to Payathai transport hub and they are connected by elevated corridor which directly connected from the level of suburb train.
