Our team offers technical resources that support company initiatives with an eye toward risk reduction/optimization, standardized processes and efficiency.

Employees can call me when they have a complex business challenge or opportunity that needs to be better understood and needs a process change to correct or leverage the situation.

What do you do at Wilbur-Ellis? I serve as the strategic leader of the department and work with our management teams to help identify, quantify and respond to risk opportunity. In other words, are there risks we can take to create more value? Are there downside risks that could compromise value?

When I’m not working ... I am a consummate learner and entrepreneur. I have built several businesses over the years in apiary services, horse riding academies, interior design and consulting. Right now, I’m studying to be a falconer, and will support bird abatement in the commercial and agriculture industries. My wife and four kids have similar interests, which have us involved in rodeo, competitive cheerleading, agriculture, competitive cooking, theater and motocross.

I work to ensure we make solid risk-adjusted decisions, supporting the overall growth and sustainability of our company.

What assistance can you provide employees? Most of my work is strategic in nature. Employees can also call me when they need to pull together resources. I don’t always have the answers, but can help identify and coordinate the best intellectual capital we have to offer. 7

What is your background? EIMAN BADR

Director, Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS)

My team and I partner with business leaders to protect our greatest assets – people, property and the communities we serve.

Our team can help develop management processes/systems, conduct risk assessments, identify hazards and establish techniques to control them.

What do you do at Wilbur-Ellis?

When I’m not working ... I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids, exploring the great outdoors and traveling. I also play and follow all sports, especially hockey. My interests include comparative religions, aviation, cooking and many different musical genres.

Through partnerships, we develop processes designed to reduce the probability and severity of all unwanted events. We recognize potential hazards and liabilities and support the implementation of practical controls. I am privileged to lead a dedicated team of EHSS practitioners.

What assistance can you provide employees? Employees can contact me when they need qualified EHSS technical support and expertise. We engage, educate, mentor, train and develop business leaders in the art and science of safety leadership and environmental stewardship. We also advise on creating an injury-free culture that enables our company to exceed our customer’s expectations and reach our potential.
