REFINED FARMHOUSE From vintage designs and patterns to fresh, modern botanicals, this trend is anything but rustic. Overall the look is neutral, with soft pastels and hints of black adding splashes of color and contrast to decor and accessories. While shiplap and clean lines are the staples of this trend, designers are loving the warmer colors, textures, designs and art that are elevating this look for 2018.

I’ve loved watching this look transform from more rustic designs to the elegant art and patterns we’re now seeing evolve. Refined Farmhouse is at it’s best when mixed and matched in the home. Crisp white walls, shiplap, rustic wood tables and copper accents are the backdrop for warm fabrics, stylish dinnerware, art, patterns and more, transforming any space into the perfect farm-chic interior.

I love that our artists are interpreting chinz and early 1900s floral patterns into paintings and designs that feel fresh and timely.Who knew that gray would be a gorgeous neutral for buds and blossoms?
