After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration in 2011, Moira Hershey relocated to Vermont to work as a designer and art director at Wild Apple. Her personal style is quirky, cute and fun, with an emphasis on bold lines and texture using gouache, ink, and digital media. She is inspired by nature, Scandinavian design, texture and color. In her free time, she enjoys playing roller derby, drawing silly faces, and cuddling cats. What’s your favorite trend for 2018? I’m excited that Ultra Violet is the 2018 Pantone color of the year! I’m looking forward to using brighter colors and moving away from the neutrals (grey, beige, greige etc.) that were popular last year.
I love using watercolor because you never know how it might turn out in the end.
What color can’t you live without? I’m attracted to blues like turquoise and indigo - Everything in my house is blue with a touch of lime here and there. What’s your favorite medium to create with? I love using watercolor because you never know how it might turn out in the end- It’s unpredictable and challenging.

Jo Maye is a full time abstract painter, working in acrylic and pencil on paper. She was born and raised in Dublin to a family of artists and now lives in a small community close to the sea on the west coast of Ireland. Her love of nature and the environment permeates her work.
