Chris Paschke is an internationally accomplished artist and calligrapher. Her fascination with both Eastern and Western letterforms has been a lifelong study. Chris has studied with European master calligraphers in Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Russia, and after an inspiring visit to China, her work took on a strong Asian influence. For the past forty years, Chris has been strongly influenced by traditional Chinese masters and Japanese Sumi-e painting, crossed with the edgy abstract expressionism of Kline, Pollock, Rothko, Gottlieb, Motherwell and Jasper Johns. Chris attended San Jose State University and Humboldt State University, receiving a BFA Creative Arts and Design, Magna Cum Laude. She is a member of the Friends of Calligraphy, San Francisco, CA; Sumi Society of America; International Encaustic Association; and Fine Art Trade Guild (UK). Amelia Ilangaratne

DINA JUNE Dina June is a New England based artist and designer who grew up in Los Angeles, California. She creates artwork from her studio in Hudson, Massachusetts, a bustling town with a growing art scene. With watercolor as her choice medium, she creates romantic, dreamlike imagery, and whimsical abstract patterns. “The unpredictable manner of watercolor is so interesting and exciting to work with,” she says. “It’s a great contrast to my graphic design pieces, which creates an enjoyable balance in my work life.” Dina has been creating art for as long as she can remember. “Coming from a family of artists, as well as growing up in a beautifully diverse city, my eyes were opened to the vast world of art and design. Being able to make a living as an artist is a proud accomplishment.” She is a professional Graphic Designer and has a degree in Psychology. “I have always been half artist, half designer. I love both hands-on organic art media as well as the clean-cut aspect of graphic design.” Her studio reflects this as well, half filled with art paper, canvases, paints and brushes; the other half occupied by her laptop and monitor screens. “I feel very fortunate to be able to pursue two different areas of art as a career.” Outside the studio, she spends time with her husband and their baby girl, taking frequent walks to town to look for inspiring scenery and good tacos. She also loves making regular trips back to LA to spend time with her family, soak in the sunshine, and find more unique art ideas… (And tacos!).

ANN KELLE Spring flowers, ice cream, 80s music, and her dadâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s ties, are just a few of the fresh and bright inspirations for Kelle Boyd, the artist behind Ann Kelle Designs. Her simple, sweet and slightly sassy style started in her childhood, when she carted around her sketches of her own childrenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s line of clothing and wedding dresses in her backpack. As an adult, Kelle Boyd traded in her colored pencils for a career in public policy. While working for the Mayor of Nashville, she revisited her childhood dream and purchased some art supplies to relieve some of the day to day stress. Two years later, in 2005, Kelle took a leap of faith and launched her studio, Anne Kelle Designs. She now lives and works in Te n n e s s e e creating what she loves.
