ANNOUNCEMENTS TODAY: 1) THE FLOWERS: at the pulpit are from the Glassfords. 2) PRAYER MINISTRY: A group from the prayer net ministry team will meet at 8:30 am each Sabbath morning. Starting in the Mothers' Room, they will move around the church to pray for the Holy Spirit to bless each classroom, student and teacher, the church and each attendee, the Pastors, leaders and ministries. Anyone who would like to join us will be welcome. 3) CAMP MORNING STAR: this weekend. See insert. 4) SERVING HANDS MINISTRY: 5:00pm in the fellowship hall.
NEXT WEEK: 5) SPECIAL INVITATION: The Page family is planning a special weekend for Victor’s 80th birthday and his and LaVerta’s 50th wedding anniversary today & tomorrow. See poster in lobby for more information. 16) 2012 SECC YOUTH CONVENTION: "Gear up" is for all church leaders involved with children, junior high, youth, young adults, pathfinders, and adventurers. The seminar will provide comprehensive training on relevant issues for each ministry. The convention will be held at the Ontario Convention Center October 18th-20th. Registration cost is $119. Deadline to register is September 10th.

Revive Small Group Bible Study- August 28 If you want to study God’s word but have no idea where to start come to Revive Small groups. We will see what the Bible has to say about relevant issues of today for teenagers. Starting August 28 at 6:00PM will continue every week. Revive- Every Week Youth are invited to Revive Sabbath School Every Saturday Morning at 9:45AM in the Youth Center. Snacks, Music, and Lesson. Kayaking- Change of Date TBA Come join us (YOUTH ONLY) as we go down to Balboa Beach for the day to spend time together with friends, and maybe even meet some new friends, as we kayak through the marina and have fun in the water. It's time to stay cool!!! We will be meeting in the church parking lot @ 9:00am. Please bring money for lunch or bring a lunch with you.
