SPRING DRESS UP. Spring cycling is all about being prepared. Get a start to your cycling season with a few essentials bits of gear that will take you through spring after spring with warmth, comfort and some added visibility. Make these part of your spring cycling wardrobe - 1 - Warm gloves. Cold hands aren’t going to keep you cycling - windproof gloves take the sting out of chilly winds. 2 - Booties. What is the number one complaint of spring cyclists? They hate cold feet - booties keep those feet warm and dry. 3 - Cap. Remember when your mom made you wear something on your head to keep the heat in? She wasn’t making it up. 4 - Arm Warmers. These sleeves turn a short sleeve jersey into a long sleeve and are easy to remove when the temperature warms up. 5 - Wind Vest. Keep your core warm, always. High visibility fabrics really help when lighting is lower. 6 - Knee Warmers. A simple cover to keep those hard working knees warm, also easy to remove if you get too warm.
