The following pages showcase exceptional artwork ranging from classic sporting art and woodland scenes to cheerful songbirds and western ranch life. This year’s collection also features a greatly-expanded selection of magnificent original sculptures for impressive tabletop and bookshelf display. It is highly satisfying to acquire a one-of-a-kind original creation, knowing that the artist personally applied brush strokes to the painting or hands and tools to the sculpture. When going back to the site to dig up copper I had in the studio, it inspired me to fire copper in a wood-burning stove to create brilliant colors. I had witnessed the remains, the jewels were the first pieces that I used this dynamic fired copper to create the “Light from Within.”

“I was hunting mallards in waist-high weeds on an island out on the Mississippi River. Flocks of low flying bluebills suddenly began sweeping over the water and I was able to shoot a few of them. I appreciate the bright blue bills and iridescent black and purple heads of the bluebill – quite eye catching and unique!”
